SELLING YOUR USED BOOKS
Finished with your books??? You may be able to sell them back to us.
Western Campus Resources purchases selected used textbooks that customers no longer need.
Please read the following to determine if you can sell us your used books.
1. How do I know if Western Campus will buy my books?
Please email a list of titles and ISBNs (ISBN Explained) to Russell@WesternCampus.ca. We will tell you if we’ll buy your books within one business day.
2. How much will I get?
The price we’ll pay depends on customer demand for the title and the condition of your copy of the book. When we tell you that we’ll buy your book, we’ll quote a range of prices we’ll pay. The top price is for a copy of the book in “like new” condition. The bottom price reflects flaws in condition such as writing, doodling, scuffed covers, etc.
3. How do I get paid for my books?
If you have a PayPal account, we’ll process your payment within one day of receiving your books. Otherwise, we’ll have to mail you a cheque, which can take up to 10 days.
4. Where do I take my books?
In short, to the post office. If we offer to purchase your books, we’ll email you a pre-addressed shipping label that you MUST print and attach to the parcel in which you mail us your books.
5. Who pays for the postage?
You do. We strongly suggest that you purchase a Tracking Number from Canada Post.
6. My book has water and/or moisture damage.
Unfortunately, we DO NOT buy water or moisture damaged books.
7. My book has a missing page(s).
Unfortunately, we DO NOT buy books with missing pages. All books must be complete.
8. The binding of my book is broken.
Sorry, we only buy books with the binding intact.
9. My book has highlighting on more than 10 pages.
We are not able to buy books with that have more than 10 pages of highlighting.
