Information collected and how we use it
When you visit this Web site, WCR collects information that allows us to improve the way we do business online. We log the following information: hostname, user-agent (Web browser) information, operating system information, the time and number of pages visited on this Web site, the name of the country in which you live, and other demographic information. This information cannot identify specific visitors, and is used to help WCR increase accessibility, and improve service.
The information collected when you register with WCR will not be used for any other purpose than for your shopping convenience and order processing. WCR will not share personal information with others without your permission, except when required to comply with a legal order to provide information, track potentially harmful use or illegal use of our Web site, or, defend our copyright and property rights.
Information collected using forms
To shop at WCR, you must first register. In doing so, you permit WCR to collect information that enables us to provide you with online shopping. Contact information (Name, phone number, address, city, province, postal code, and E-mail) are the basic information we need to complete your order. We must know how to contact a client who orders merchandise. When you checkout, additional credit card information is requested by our secure third-party Internet payment processor, Beanstream.
By clicking the "pay now" button, which is at the end of the WCR shopping cart system, you are allowing us to pass data to the Beanstream secure server and you are allowing Beanstream to collect and verify credit card information, and securely process the rest of the transaction.
Information collected using cookies
WCR uses cookies, small pieces of data (text-only files) that are collected when you fill out and submit forms on the WCR Web site. Cookies are read by your browser and stored in your computer's memory. Cookies cannot read personal information from your hard drive. Cookies allow online shopping to happen. WCR uses a secure third-party Internet payment processing company, Beanstream. The security measures used by Beanstream to verify and process your credit card transaction include:
- Secure Socket Layers (SSL), a protocol used for transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL allows data encryption (turns secure data into a cypher or "secret code". The code is then transferred over the secure SSL connection.
- SSL encryption through digital ID's from Verisign Inc..
- Referring-host IP validation, as well as a merchant-wide, "known problem IPs" database.
- A direct, secure digital line between Beanstream and the credit card processing company.
- Firewall protection for servers.

When you click the "pay now" button (the last step of the WCR shopping cart), you are taken to a Beanstream secure server where the you can verify your contact and shipping information, and safely input and submit your credit card information. When submitting payment information, you are signifying your agreement with the Beanstream Privacy Statement and any other applicable Beanstream legal notices.
